Early Learning Association Australia (ELAA) is the national peak body championing excellence in early learning for children and supporting parents and service providers and works with parents and service providers toward a shared vision of excellence in early learning for children.
McArthur continues to partner with ELAA to present the 2019 McArthur Early Childhood Volunteer of the Year Awards. Celebrate the difference that volunteers make to your early learning service by nominating a special someone for this year’s Awards. They may have turned a ‘great idea’ into a reality, provided specialist skills, or simply put in countless hours to help get things done. Whatever their contribution, make sure your best volunteers are recognised.
This year’s theme is Inclusive Connections and sessions will focus on Local Government’s role in building inclusive communities to foster the ability for the ageing population, younger people (under 65 years) and those with a disability to lead full and satisfying lives.
The winner of the McArthur Early Childhood Volunteer of the Year Awards will receive a $250 book voucher and a $250 book voucher for their service. Other finalists will each receive a $75 book voucher in recognition of their significant contributions.
Nominations are only open to volunteers from current ELAA member early years services.
The awards will be presented at the ELAA Annual General Meeting with details below.
When: Thursday, 14th November 2019 (6.30pm for a 7pm start)
