Governance, Risk and Corporate Planning Manager

Local Government
Location: NSW
Work Type: Full Time permanent/Term Contract
  • Strong governance focus
  • Broad stakeholder interaction
  • Leading a multi-disciplinary team

Located on Sydney's lower North Shore and 6km from the CBD, the City of Willoughby is home to 80,000 diverse, multi-cultural residents and an area of significant natural, heritage and historical significance.

We are seeking a suitably experienced professional to lead a governance, risk and corporate planning team.

To be successful for this role, you will have a track record of success interpreting and applying NSW governance related legislation. As a recognised expert, governance is your bread and butter and true passion.

Leading and influencing your team as a collaborative communicator will enable you to manage change and make a difference.

A tertiary qualification in public policy or a business discipline combined with extensive governance experience will have given you plenty of exposure to risk management, corporate planning and data research initiatives. In addition, your exceptional leadership skills mean you can effectively manage a multi-disciplinary team within a politically complex, legislative driven environment while also building strong stakeholder partnerships - both internal and external.

For an ambitious governance executive, this is a real chance to bring all your technical and team leadership skills to a role where you can have a genuine influence.
